The Rev. G A. Doecke. of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand, will leave Christchurch next week for Australia to attend the general convention of his church in Melbourne from March 22 to March 29 He will be accompanied by, his wife and younger son. For Mr Doecke, who is an Australian, it will be his first visit for eight years.
Mr C T. C Watson, of Wellington, a former editor of the “Dominion” and present assistant editor of the N.Z.B.S. news service, will take up a new appointment on the executive staff of the Overseas Shipowners’ Committee, on February I. i P.A.)
