Lord Euston On Lecture Tour

(S.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. Jan. 17. The Earl of Euston Chairman of the Society for the Protection of Ancienit Buildings in Britain and member of the Historic Buildings Council, is expected to arrive in Wellington in February to carry out a lecture tour on behalf of the British Council in association with the New Zealand National Historic Places Trust. During the course of his tour he will attend the Waitangi celebrations and visit many historic sites He will also have discussions with the" trust and with several of its regional committees throughout New Zealand. Public lectures will be given in Wellington, Auckland. Christchurch. Dunedin. Timaru. New Plymouth. Hamilton, and Whangarei. Lord Euston will leave for Australia at the beginning of March to carry out a similar tour there.
