(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Jan. 15. Gross proceeds from the wool sale in Dunedin on December 14 amounted to £1,912,111, a drop of £19.308 on the comparable 1960 figure. The average price for the 32,550 bales sold was £5B 14s lid a bale, and the average price per lb was 42.16 d—a slightly higher average than the December 1960 sale. In December 1960 some 400 more bates were sold. The gross proceeds then were slightly higher at £1,931,419,
the average price Jar each bale was £5B 12s Id, and the average price per lb was 42.06 d. The next Dunedin wool sate will beibeLd on March 2.
