ALLEGED THEFT AT NELSON
Information Laid Against Man
An information has been laid against a man in Nelson and he is summoned to appear in the Magistrate’s Court at Nelson on January 19 on a charge connected with the alleged theft of £2300 in a suitcase from a car at the Tahunanui motor camp last Tuesday. The officer-in-charge of the Nelson police district (Chief Inspector F. W. Lefort) said this last evening when telephoned by "The Press.” He added that the £2300 had not been recovered by the police. The Magistrate’s Court at Nelson will resume sittings on January 19 after the holiday break.
