Fijian Cricketers
The Fijian cricketers will make their first appearance in Canterbury this week, when they will meet the Canterbury side at Lancaster Park on Friday and Saturday. After this match they will move south to play Southland on January 15 and 16, Central Otago on January 17, Otago on January 19 and 20, and North Otago on January 22 and 23 before returning to Canterbury to play the Ashburton side at Ashburton on January 24 and 25. After an indifferent start to their tour, the Fijians should be more confident after their first-innings victory last week-end over the Plunket Shield holder. Wellington. ¥ ¥ ¥
