Axemen For Australia

(N.Z. Preu Association) INVERCARGILL, Jan. 4. New Zealand's team of axemen to compete at the Sydney Royal Show at Easter is: W. Shelford (Tokoroa), I. E. Davidson (Tokoroa), R. H. Honey (Putaruru). G. L. Hocquard (Marlborough), A. E. Rose (Hokitika), S. L. Antonovich (Ruatapuna, Westland) and D. R. Seymour (Totara Flat, Westland). All but two members have represented New Zealand in 1930 and 1931. R. H. Honey was a member of last year’s team and S. L. M. Antunovich is a new member. Reserves are: Standing Chop.—D. A. Lamberton (Tokoroa) and D. M. M. McCartie (Pokeno); underhand—W. P. Curtain (Hokitika) and R. H. Monteith (Gorge road, Southland).
