MAN REMANDED ON BAIL

Charge Of Breaking And Entering

A 37-year-old Christchurch salesman, Raymond Valentine Patrick Wren, appeared in the Police Court at Greymouth yesterday on a charge of breaking and entering the Brunner Workingmen's Club with intent to commit a crime.

On the application of Detective-Sergeant S. B. McEwen. who aaid another charge would be preferred, accused was remanded to appear before a Magistrate in Greymouth on January 17. Mr M. G. Kelly, Justice of the Peace, granted the remand, with bail of £lOO and two sureties of a similar amount, a ’ condition being that Wren reports daily to the police.
