Cricket Selection “After watching the recent cricket match between Canterbury and Auckland, I, like many others, was disgusted at the poor performance put up by the Canterbury batsmen. Have we no player in the province who can emulate the sterling exhibitions and performances of that well known and popular player, Simpson Guillen. Lastly, I would ask if the selectors looked outside of Canterbury for any promising material."—FOUß BYES.
