AUSTRALIAN DETECTIVES

Look-Out For Criminals (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 3. Two Australian detectives arrived in New Zealand today on the look-out for wanted Australian criminals. An Auckland man, DetectiveSergeant A. R. Mathieson, heed of the C. 1.8. shopbreakers’ squad, flew to Sydney. The visitors are DetectiveSergeant F. A. Bradstreet, of Sydney, and DetectiveSergeant A. Slater, of Melbourne. They will be in the country about two months visiting various centres. The visits mean the resumption of a detective exchange scheme between the two countries begun about 10 years ago, said the head of the Auckland C. 1.8., Detec-tive-Superintendent J. W. Hill.
