(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Dec. 27. Bemuse has been scratched from the Summer Cup at Ellerslie tomorrow. He is sore and has had to be scratched also from the Auckland Cup on Monday Beauzami. a late scratching on the first day for the Queen Elizabeth Handicap has been withdrawn from the Summer Cup tomorrow. Gitano has also been scratched from the race. He has had colic and was scratched on veterinary advice. Other scratchings tomorrow are:— Nursery Handicap: Yardstick. Summer Cup: Selwyn, Dipnoi. Swaps. Goldmyth. Fairenda. Ferguson Handicap: Veritas. Rhyme. Picaroon has been scratched from all engagements, including the Auckland Cup. Climbing and Dalveen have been scratched from the Auckland Cup. to be contested at Ellerslie on Monday. For winning the Queen Elizabeth Handicap at Ellerslie on Tuesday, Marwon has been rehandicapped 51b in the Auckland Cup next Monday, making his weight 7-12.
