SELECTED FOR DUNTROON

Mr and Mrs H. H. Dodson, of 90 Jerrold street, have received advice from the Adjutant - General, Army Headquarters, Wellington, that their son, Maurice Francis Dodson, has been selected to enter the Royal Military College. Duntroon. Mr Dodson, who is aged 18. was educated at St. Bede’s College and completed his university entrance course this year. He was a member of the college first fifteen and second cricket eleven, and was an infantry sergeant in the college cadet corps. He will leave Christchurch on January 17. and after a short course at Waiouru Military Camp will leave for Australia. The course at Duntroon lasts for four years.
