SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS

Annual Camp At Chaneys Seventh - day Adventists from all parts of the South Island will set up a tent camp at Pascoe Park Chaneys, for their annual camp meeting, which will last 10 days from Thursday. December 21. About 600 persons are expected to be in the camp during al! this period, and week-end attendance is ex. pected to be between 1200 and 1500. Activities will include Bible study, devotional periods, conference reports and planning, and organised recreation. Children's activities will generally be conducted during the day and adult meetings will be held in the evenings.

The chairman of the meeting will be Pastor H. W. Hollingsworth. of Christchurch, who arrived from Australia a year ago. Visiting speakers will include Pastor W Beach, from the United States, and Pastors R. A. Vince and A. White, from Australia. These two pastors will be mainly concerned with the organisation at the Junior Missionary Volunteers, a group in which

ages range from 10 to 15. Altogether about 25 pastors will conduct lessons or meetings at the camp.
