Auckland’s Team
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Dec. 17. A sparkling 61 by J. G. Kemp, for Auckland against Fiji at Eden, Park on Saturday came too Late for him to regain his place in the Auckland teem whieh wiM play Canterbury and Otago in the opening Plunket Shield matches. The Auckland selectors, Messrs G. O. Ratoone, R. N. Farman. and D. Taylor retained 11 of the players in the match agsainot Fiji, and have brought back the off-spinner. L.. A. Green, who passed a fitness test on Saturday morning. The touring team is:—L. A. dark (captain), S. G. Gedye, R, M. Harris, W. R. Playle. R. W. Morgan, P. P. W. Morris, P. B. McGregor, L. A. Green, W. B. Norman. R. S. Cunnis, J. M. Mclntyre and M. E. Dormer. The manager is Mr K. Jagger. The team will play Canterbury at Lancaster Park on December 25, 26 and 27, and Otago at Carisbrook on December 29, 30, and January 1.
