Guatemala May Break With U.K.
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) GUATEMALA CITY. December 17. Guatemala ■ is considering breaking relations with Britain in the near future, President Miguel Ydigoras Fuentes told United Press International. He accused the British Government of intervention in internal Guatemalan affairs by financing anti-Government movements. He also said his Government was not pleased with British inattention to repeated Guatemalan efforts to get British Honduras back under Guatemala’s control.
