Two Canterbury University cricketers have been named for the New Zealand Universities team for the three-day test match against Australian Universities at the Canterbury’ University ground, Ham. next week. Both the medium pacers D. Beuth and B. H. Hopkins have been included: the twelfth man is A. C. Victoria (N Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, Dec. 12 Queensland was 184 runs ahead of Victoria with three second-innings wickets in hand at the close of play on the third day of their Sheffield Shield match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground today. P. J. Burge was Queensland’s best batsman, with 81 not out scored in 193 minutes, including eight fours. He was well supported by the opener, S. Trimble, who hit 54 in 185 minutes with seven fours. Victoria's most successful bowler was R. A. Gaunt, who claimed three for 84 off 24 overs. Scores were:— Queensland, 159 and 274 for seven (P. J. Burge 81 not out, S. Timble 54, T, Veivers 45, D. Bull 39, K. Mackay 21; R. Gaunt three for 84, I. Huntingdon two for 33) v. Victoria, 249. England's Team Unchanged (N^.P^A.-Reuter —Copt/rtpht) NEW DELHI, Dec. 11. England will keep the side that drew with India in the second test, for the third test, which starts at New Delhi on Wednesday. The team, announced today, is: E. R Dexter, G. A. Pullar, P. E.
