Good Win At Woodville Press Association) PALMERSTON NTH., Nov. 25. After taking the lead three furlongs from home, Marqinta gamely withstood all challenges to win the Bolton Handicap at the Woodville Jockey Club’s meeting on Saturday. She beat the favourite. Dalveen, by a head, with an outsider. Pampas, a further head away third. Princess Donna came fourth and Ma Cherie was fifth. Minstrel Beau outclassed his rivals in the Oete Handicap. He drew out in the run home and won easily from Misguided and Nafanua. The double, Marquita and Minstrel Beau, paid £49 14s for £l. Racing was held in fine weather and the track was fast. The totalisator handled £65.434, as against £65.317 10s last year, a decrease of £ll6 10s.
