Big Demand For Tickets (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 24 New Zealanders overseas had shown astonishing interest in the new “Golden Kiwi” lottery, which opens on December 4. the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Gotz) said today. Applications for tickets had come from London, Hong Kong, Malaya. Canada. Northern Ireland, and India. Mr Gotz said there had been a lot of applications from Australia. There had been a big demand for tickets in New Zealand, and many firms and organisations made block bookings.
