Rifle Shooting AUSTRALIAN TEAMS
Christmas Visit To N.Z. The largest Australian rifle teams ever to visit New Zealand will spend a fortnight in Canterbury during Christmas at the invitation of the Canterbury Rifle Association. They are due to arrive by air on Christmas Day. At least 30 are expected. About 23 w*;Il come from New South Wales, three from Victoria, three from Queensland and one from Tasmania. The Australians will be billeted by Canterbury riflemen. The teams will compete in the provincial and South Island championships from December 27 to 29.
