79 Entries For Auckland Cup
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND* Nov. 17. Seventy-nine entries have been received by the Auckland Racing Club for the £ll,OOO Auckland Cup, to be run over two miles at Ellerslie on January 1. The same number was received last year.
Ruato, Ma Cherie. Daysun and Beauzami, who ailed the first four placings in the 1960 Auckland Cup, have again been nominated.
Notable three - year - old entries are the New Zealand Derby winner, Burgos, and the good Otaki colts, Castlerae and Commanding.
