Invitation To Editors
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PRETORIA, November 15. The South African Minister of Information (Mr Frank Waring) said in Pretoria last night that he would invite editors of South African newspapers to meet him to discuss the treatment of political news. Mr Waring said that South Africa was being pilloried abroad, reported the British United Press. The responsibility fell on all newspapers in South Africa to avoid harmful, unjustified criticism of Government policies, he said.
