Tour For Miss Main
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Nov. 14. “Miss New Zealand,” Leone Main, of Auckland, who was one of the seven finalists in the “Miss World” contest in London last week, has now left with the other six girls for a week’s tour of Europe doing television shows in various countries.
This information was received last night by Mr J. Brown, promoter of the “Miss New Zealand” contest, who had a radio-tele-phone call from Miss Main asking permission to go on the tour.
