(N , BAGDAD. Iraq teachers can now own cars—West German Cfcels, Russian Volgas and

M-oscovich—-on easy instal* merits through their Consumer Co-operative of tbe Teachers’ Union. So far 120 teachers have registered for a car. The greater the number of buyers the easier the instalments, said a spokesman of the co-operative. The co-operative is one of the largest in Iraq, with a membership of 5000 teachers. Under special arrangements with various dealers, it sells to its members at reasonable prices such commodities as refrigerators, air - coolers, washing machines, radio and television sets, electric frns, heaters, ready-made dresses and shoes.
