PROFIT-SHARING WHALING

Barrier Company Plans (NZ Press Association* AUCKLAND, Nov. 14. The Barrier Whaling Company expects to continue wheltag next season and is now negotiating with New Zealand operators to work the station on a profitsharing basis. The company is a subsidiary of the Norfolk Island and Byron Bay Whaling Company and went into receivership in July. The receiver was withdrawn on October 31 by agreement with the mortgagee.

* The manager-secretary of Barrier Whaling, Captain P. Davison, said in Auckland today that if negotiations were successful operators would be working for themselves and would not be company employees.
