Works accidents in West Germany cause 7000 deaths each year and on every working day of the year 200)000 West German workers are on sick leave due to accidents, a spokesman for work-safety engineers and works doctors said in Berlin. He was speaking at a press conference which preceded a three-day congress of 1000 work-safety, engineers and works doctors.
