CREDIT TO DAIRY INDUSTRY

Extent Of Benefits To Community of (N£. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 14. The dairy section of Federated Fanners, Auckland province, wants a committee set up to determine the benefits received by various sections of the community as a result of the dairy industry being granted Reserve Bank credit.

The section decided today to ask that a committee be set up by Federated Farmers and the Dairy Production and Marketing Board. Ito resolution will be discussed next week at a meeting of the Dominion dairy section of Federated Farmere.

Speakers today said harm was being done to the dairy industry by criticism of the fact the basic price for butterfat was being maintained by Reserve Ban': credit. They felt that other sections of the community benefited by the

butterfat price being maintained and that th res should beer some of the responsibility.
