Men Injured When Crane Jib Falls
Two men were injured when the jib of a crane fell during the demolition of a building at 69 Searells road, Papanui, early yesterday afternoon. Mr J. Jamin, aged 32, of 43 Beach road. New Brighton, and Mr H. Rowe, of 44 Hills road, were taken by ambulance to the Christchurch Hospital. Mr Jamin, with minor head injuries, was treated for shock and admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. Minor chest injuries were suffered byMr Rowe, who was discharged after treatment.
