PORTUGUESE REBELS
Seats Refused On Airliner (K-2. Prest Am^—Copyright) LONDON. Nov. 14. British officials in Tangier yesterday prevented Moroccan authorities sending the Portuguese rebel leader. Captain Henrique Galvao, and his six followers who hi-jacked an airliner on Friday, to Gibraltar.
When the group turned up at Tangier Airport under police guard, the airline refused to issue them tickets, Mid the “Daily Express.” They were worried that the pirates might try to hijack the British aircraft, according to the newspaper. They were also concerned that Gibraltar might refuse to take them, and the pirates would have to keep travelling back-and-forth between the two countries. Tonight the pirates were back in their hotels while the Government tried to sort out the problem.
