Enthusiastic Exhibitors

It Is not necessary to win a championship to be a satisfied exhibitor at a show. To get their entries to the Agricultural and Pastoral Association's fhow at Blenheim yesterday in time for Judging, Mr and Mrs G. D. Black and their daughters, Christina and Beverley, rose at daybreak on their farm at Tira Oa in Pelorus Sound, loaded three stud Romney Marsh rams and two pet iambs into the family launch and set off on the 18 miles’ trip to Havelock. At Havelock they put the sheep on a truck and drove 28 miles to the show. Ibis is only the second year Mr Block has had his Romney Marsh stud and he and his daughters seemed as pleased with the "highly commended* card tacked above one of the pens as if they had won all the championships outright
