Super Arch Pays £l58 For Win

INVERCARGILL, October 29. Super Arch, the outsider of a 13-horse field in the Ridges Junior Hack Handicap at the Wyndham Racing Club's spring meeting on Saturday, returned a record dividend for a galloper for the Wyndham course when he paid £l5B 6s on the win machine and £l6 7s on the place machine. He is trained at Gore by E. A. Winsloe. The meeting was held in overcast but fine weather and on a firm track. There was only a fair attendance. The double, Becharre (Spring Handicap) and Callevo (Flying Handicap), paid £l6O 14s for £l. The totalisator handled £24,159 10s, an increase of £1709 10s on last year’s total of £22,450.
