After the South Island Aberdeen Angus bull sale at Addington on October 16 Dalgety and Company, Ltd., shipped 11 bulls, which were bought at an average of more than 200gns each, for North Island clients. The top-price bull out of the consignment was Cortes of Glenmark. which won the Meat and Wool Cup for Mr D. W. J. Gould's Glenmark stud at Waipara and was sold for 300 guineas. The bulls, which come from Southland, Middlemarch, Waimate. Oamaru, Hundalee and Christchurch, were purchased by Mr J. V. Evans, of the New Zealand stud stock department of Dalgety’s. 1
