Pornography And The B.B.C.
Sir, —With “Ham” I agree that the 8.8. C. seemed to have put out a programme inclined to do more harm than good. With his estimate of cinema’s effects on young people I also agree. I have often wondered how long We, as a people, will put up with sex being perpetually put before the teen-age minds—and that under the guise of entertainment. With “Ham’s” high admiration for “the glorious few” newspapers which refuse to stoop to making a profit from sex all honourable people will heartily agree.—Yours, etc, FLEE YOUTHFUL LUSTS. October 11, 1961.
