Ship Collects Sick Seaman
(NZ. Press Association) DUNEDIN. October 12. The Antarctic weather picket ship U.SJS. Vance called at Campbell Island this morning to pick up a seaman with suspected appendicitis from H.M.N.Z.S. Rotoiti. The Vance will not now arrive in Dunedin until late on Saturday night. The Rotoiti is on her way south to relieve the Vance on her weather patrol for flights to the Antarctic.
