ONE DETONATOR FOUND
Police Want To ' See Woman One of the three detonators which was taken from the railway line at Kaiapoi on Tuesday has been found. A three-year-old child was found playing with it about 11 am. on Wednesday by his aunt, who handed it to a railway ganger. The Kaiapoi police want to interview this woman, whose name is not known.
It is understood that a second detonator was found by a boy on the bank or in the Kaiapoi river and handed to a man who was passing The • police also wanted to sec this man, said Constable I E. Harris,
The detonators are painted red or blue.
