Diocesan Synod Elects Committees
Elections held by the Christchurch Diocesan Synod on the fourth day of its annual meeting in the Provincial Council Chambers yesterday resulted:— Diocesan Standing Committee (12 members of clergy).— The Rev. K. O. Bathurst (Rangiora). the Very Rev. M. G. Sullivan (Dean of Christchurch), the Ven. H. G. Norris (Ashburton), the Rev. Canon R. P. Andrews (hospital chaplain), the Rev. Canon R. J. Witty (New Brighton), the Ven. W. M. Davies (Avonside), the Ven. H. M. Cocks (Papanui), the Ven. R. P. F. Plaistowe (Timaru), the Ven. S. E. Woods (Merivale), the Rev. R. A.
