(N.Z. Press Association) WESTPORT, October 1. A proposal to establish a training school for , youth leaders “in whom the public can have unquestioned faith at all times" is being considered by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Gotz). He said in Westport- today that “more will be heard of this.” but he was not' yet ready to announce details of a scheme in which local authorities would be invited to participate. The Minister today ended his week’s tour of Buller and the West Coast. During his four-day stay in Westport he visited the Granity-Hector area to examine sea erosion problems. represented the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) at a film premiere, attended the Westport Jockey Club’s Saturday meeting, made grants to local scout and other organisations, and attended the Westport Aero Club’s pageant He returned to Wellington by R.N.ZAF. aircraft today.
