12 FLIGHTS TO CHATHAMS

R.N.Z.A.F. To Use Sunderland* (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Sept. 27. A total of 12 flights carrying passengers and freight to and from Wellington to the Chatham Islands will be made by the R.N.Z.A.F. between December 7 and October 17, 1962. Sunderland flying-boats from the maritime operational conversion unit will make three flights in December to enable children studying in New Zealand to return home for the Christmas holidays.
