LONDON, Sept. 21 The second successful launching of a multi-stage carrier rocket into the central Pacific took place on Sunday, the official Russian news agency, Tass, said, according to the British United Press. “The high level of precision of the functioning of the carrier rockets control system at a distance exceeding 12,000 kilometres (7457 miles) has been another big achievement of Soviet rocketry. “In conformity with the plan, carrier rockets will continue to be launched into the area announced earlier,” the statement said.
