STOREMAN FINED £85 FOR THEFT
Fish Stolen From Timaru Firm (N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU, September 21. Fines totalling £B5 (costs (£4 10s) were imposed on Richard Hunt Vincent, afted 51, a factory storeman, of Timaru, when he appeared before Mr N. M. Izard, S.M.. in the Timaru Magistrate’s Court today for sentence on four charges involving the theft of seven cases and 121 b of fish valued at £27 2s 6d, the property of the Timaru Fishing Company. The offences, which were committed in July, August and September of this year had been admitted when Vincent appeared before the Court yesterday. Detective Senior-Sergeant J. A. Marshall prosecuted for the police, and Mr R. S. Frapwell appeared for Vincent. An application for suppression of name was refused
