Second Death After Car Collision
(NX. Press Association) N. PLYMOUTH. Sept. 20. The death of Mrs Elizabeth Wilcock Watkins, aged 75, at Hawera today was the second arising from a car collision at the intersection of Skeet and Manaia roads, Kapuni, on Monday afternoon. The driver of the car in which Mrs Watkins was travelling, Alexander Harry Swanson, aged 68, of Tariki road, Inglewood, died in the Hawera Hospital after admission.
His wife, Mrs Mary Evelyn Swanson, and Mrs Watkins were both admitted to the hospital.
