Publication In United States The., novel which won the "Otago Daily Times” centennial competition—"An Affair of men” by the Christchurch novelist Errol Brathwaite—has been accepted by St Martins Press Incorporated, New York, for publication in the United States. Both Mr Brathwaite’s novel and “Long Night Amongsl the Stars” by Pat Booth, oi Auckland, which was placed second in the competition, have been printed in Britain and will be released in New Zealand and Australia on November 14, the date of the centenary. They will be released in Britain in January. Mr Brathwaite, who is an advertising copywriter already has one successful novel to his credit —“Fear in the Night” which was published in 1959,
