OLYMPIC GAMES

Discussions On

Rugby

(N.Z.P.A.-lteuter—Copyright) LONDON, September 18. The International Rugby Federation decided at a meeting in Paris to discuss with the International Olympic Committee the possible inclusion of Rugby in Olympic Games some time in the future. The federation controls Rugby only in Europe, including several Communist countries, but has nothing to do with the sport ih the British Isles or other parts of the Commonwealth. The International Rugby Union Board, the governing body Tor the game in the Commonwealth, has made it known on several occasions in recent years it is not prepared to support the inclusion of Rugby in the Olympic programme.
