FINED £45 FOR SLY GROGGING

(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA. Sept 19. Forty-two flagons and five and a half dozen bottles of beer were confiscated in a police raid on the home of Nikora Hopi Mahima, aged 43, a workman, of Rotorua. . Mahima today pleaded guilty to charges of selling liquor without a licence and of keeping liquor for sale when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court at Rotorua and Mr G. J. Donne, S.M., fined him £45.
