Short Price On Navarro

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, September 19. Sydney bookmakers are taking no risks with the New Zealand stayer Navarro, which will make his Australian debut in the Dundas Handicap at Warwick Farm tomorrow. In early charts he .is equal favourite with Donna Caloona at a fraction of a point under each-way odds. Navarro, one of the favourites for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups, won a barrier trial in good style at Randwick last Friday. He will be ridden tomorrow by George Moore. Another New Zealand horse in the same race is Stipulate, which will be ridden by Bernie Howlett.
