£l000 For Congo And Angola
A grant of £lOOO towards relief projects In the Congo and Angola was made by the executive committee of the New Zealand National COuncll of Churches yesterday. The secretary of the council (the Rev. A. A. Brash) said that a considerable proportion would be devoted to assisting a . number of Angolan students at present stranded in Europe. A recent request from the World Council of Churnhea in Geneva had particularly requested member organisations to give aid in this quarter. -
