Indecent Assault On Boys

(HZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 19. A retired police constable. Ernest Henry Pike, aged 62, was sentenced to two years’ ’ imprisonment by the Chief Justice (Sir Harold Barrowclough) in the Supreme Court today when he appeared for sentence on six charges of indecent assault on boys whose ages ranged from 10 to 14. Pike had pleaded guilty to the charges in the Palmerston North Magistrate's Court.
