Statement By President

The president of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association (Mr A. K. Hatch, of Christchurch) said las* evening that he had received requests from the Auckland and Wellington associations suggesting the possibility of the withdrawal oi the resignations of Messrs F. S. Ramson, S. Painter and J. D. Viekerman. He said that he could only consider such withdrawal provided none of the associations called for a special meeting and if he was directed to do so by a majority of them.
