New Orchestra’s Role
(NX. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept 19. "Will the proposed second National Orchestra perform in rural areas?” Mr J. B. Gordon (Government, Clutha) asked the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Kinsella) in the House of Representatives today. “What assurance can be given rural radio licence holders that they will be able to see and hear a proportional amount of the activities of the proposed second national orchestra, partial cost of which they will meet?” Mr Gordon asked.
