Statement Not Substantiated (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI. Sept. 15. The judicial committee of the Wanganui Jockey Club has advised Mr E. A. Robinson, owner of Gallant Lady, io be careful in future not to make assertions he cannot substantiate. A statement released by the jockey club secretary (Mr E. T. Scott) today says that at a delayed inquiry held this week Mr Robinson was called before the judicial committee concerning remarks made to the rider of Gallant Lady, T. J. Mullane, immediately after the running the Marangai Handicap on September 2. The statement says Mr Robinson was invited to substantiate his statement mafle to Mullane. He told the committee he was unable to do so.

‘‘After hearing evidence the judicial committee was satisfied that Mullane had ridden Gallant Lady on its merits.” the statement adds. "The judicial committee advised Mr Robinson to be careful in future not to make assertions when he could not substantiate them.”
