RED CROSS AWARDS

AUCKLAND, September 1. The award of counsellor of honour —highest the Red Cross can give—bass been bestowed on Miss Margaret Magill, of Wellington, Mrs Helen B. King, of Timaru. and Mr J. W. Andrews of Lower Hutt, as well as Sir Alexander Gillies, retiring Dominion president of the society. The Dominion council of the society concluded its annual meeting in Auckland today.
