Mr Eyre To Look After Finance
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Sept. 1. The Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre) will be actingMinister of Finance while Mr Lake is overseas. Mr Lake, who is expected to be away for six weeks, left yesterday for talks in Accra. Vienna and London The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today that the Under-Secretary to the Minister of Finance (Mr D. C Seath) would continue to assist in handling the administration of the portfolio.
